Body Work
So i've been doing nothing but body work on this car. We got all the dents and ripples out as best we could and now we're filling what remains. The car is almost 40 years old and theres a lot of small dents and imperfections in the body. The rear passenger side fender extention on the Fastback was badly dented and we tried brasing it but the aluminum/potmetal just melted so we took it to a friend who welded it all up for us with aluminum and then we grinded it down to what its supposed to look like. Aftermarket parts of these cars DO NOT fit. We have a rear fender extention that we bought and it fits horrible thats why we got the stock old one fixed. The front driverside fender was in an accident and the headlight frame or whatever you wanna call it was damaged so we ordered a new one of those but the fender was pretty messed up and the new part doesn't fit very good so we had to modify the fender. i don't have any pics of that modification yet though.
We welded up all the emblem holes on the fenders, the only emblems I want on this car is MUSTANG on the trunk lid and maybe a 428 emblem on the grill. After i am done sanding the bondo down and making the car perfect i am going to put a car putty over the entire car to make sure the entire car is flawless.
The interior is all painted black except the seat pans and floor because we still need to install the front suspension and we'll be welding under the car in that area.
Well here is the pics of how the car looks right now...Enjoy

That ass is SEXY!
I want my Fastback to have the Look of a Shelby so i bought Shelby scoops. They are real scoops. The lowers will cool the rear brakes and the tops will blow air into the interior of the Fastback.
