The dash has a huge hole in it. We're thinking we'll just cut it out and weld in a piece of metal but i have found out we can get replacement dashes. The only problem is the dash is all welded in and it would be an even bigger job to take it all out.
This is the vent on the side of the Fastback. It sucks air in and you can open or close this vent. Behind the interior covers the body is in pretty good shape. No surprises here.
I found this behind the backseat today as well. It took us a while to get the backseat to fold forward it was jammed or rusted but once we did we had this surprise. 2 dead mummified mice and they're "home" they made which is made out of the bottom of my backseat. i also found eaten nuts under the backseat as well.
I also started cleaning the driverside frame and undercarriage. I haven't finished so i don't have any pics.
